Help us Raise Funds for Camp!
It’s that time of year every Vermont is so familiar with—maple sugaring season! To celebrate this time of year we are running our annual fundraising event: The Sugar on Snow Dinner and Auction!
This dinner and auction is exactly what it sounds like: a dinner and auction! We will be serving a maple-glazed ham dinner and having a live auction where we will be selling donated goods such as homemade pies and quilts. Yes, that’s right, we will have a real auctioneer selling off homemade items! It is a lively and fun event for the whole family.
River of Life Camp has a scholarship program that we seek to fund each year. These scholarships go to campers whose family’s have trouble affording camp. The Sugar on Snow Dinner and Auction and our Corn Maze are the two fundraising program we put on to help fund this program. Your contribution will go directly back into your own community as it helps these families in need. The campers benefitting from these scholarships hear the Good News of Jesus Christ while they are here—and that it exactly why we have events like this.
The details:
- Dinner will start at 6:00PM, the auction will start at 7:00PM, and sugar on snow will be served around 8:00PM.
- Costs: $10 for kids 9 and older and adults, $5 for kids 8 and under, FREE for kids 2 and under, and whatever money you wish to bring for bidding!
- A list of donated auction items will be posted on the Facebook event page about a week before the event day.
